“Success” isn’t just having lots of money. Many people with lots of money have horribly unhappy and radically imbalanced lives.

Success is continuously improving who you are, how you live, how you serve, and how you relate.

So why won’t most people be successful?

In O.G Mandino’s The greatest salesman in the World, a very important fact was made which said that:

“two amongst a thousand wise men, will define success in the same words, yet failure is always described in one way. Failure is man’s inability to reach his goals in life whatever they may be.”

1. Lack of Persistence

One of the primary reasons why some people never succeed is their lack of persistence. Success often requires long-term effort and dedication, and those who give up easily are unlikely to achieve their goals.

2. Fear of Failure

Many people are afraid of failure and avoid taking risks. However, failure is often a necessary step toward success, and those who are unwilling to take risks are unlikely to achieve their goals.

3. Lack of Discipline

Success requires discipline and self-control, and those who lack these traits may struggle to achieve their goals. Without discipline, it can be difficult to maintain focus and make progress toward your objectives.

4. Lack of Planning

Without a clear plan of action, it can be challenging to achieve your goals. Those who fail to plan may find themselves wandering aimlessly and never making any real progress toward their objectives.

5. Procrastination

Procrastination is a common obstacle to success. Those who put off tasks and delay action may find that their goals slip further and further out of reach.

6. Negative Mindset

A negative mindset can be a significant barrier to success. Those who constantly focus on their shortcomings and failures are unlikely to achieve their goals.

7. Lack of Perseverance

Success often requires perseverance, and those who give up easily are unlikely to achieve their objectives. Without perseverance, it can be challenging to overcome obstacles and continue to make progress toward your goals.

8. Lack of Self-Confidence

Those who lack self-confidence may struggle to take the necessary risks and make the bold decisions required for success. Without confidence in themselves, it can be difficult to make progress toward their objectives.

9. Lack of Accountability

Those who are unwilling to take responsibility for their actions may struggle to achieve success. Without accountability, it can be challenging to learn from mistakes and make the necessary changes to achieve your goals.

10. Lack of Adaptability

Finally, those who are unable to adapt to changing circumstances may struggle to achieve their goals. Success often requires flexibility and the ability to adjust your approach as circumstances change, and those who are unable to adapt may find themselves falling behind.
